Andrew hails from Baton Rouge, where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture with minors in Community Design and Geographic Information Systems from Louisiana State University. He was lured to the Pacific Northwest by the booming construction industry, but don’t let his soulful bayou beard fool you: Andrew’s ardent appreciation of flannel and compost-gardening proves he’s a Seattleite at heart.
An architect-in-training by day, Andrew moonlights as an urban reclamation artist in his evening hours. He operates a woodworking studio out of his apartment, handcrafting beautiful local-wood furniture. He practices a woodworking technique that uses pallets and other reclaimed materials for a unique eco-hipster style.
In Amento Group’s Architectural Department, Andrew assists with drawing sets and specification production. He is acquiring on-site construction administration knowledge for large repair projects while attending site visits, answering RFIs, and coordinating with several construction managers.
