Ryan has made waves in the construction defects scene up and down the Puget Sound region. From his humble origins as a material testing specialist with a local roofing and waterproofing consulting firm to founding and operating the Seattle-based Precision Window Testing, Ryan has amassed more than 12 years’ experience in construction defects and fenestration assessment. He says the most complex investigations are also his favorite; he treats each system like a puzzle and enjoys unraveling their intricacies.
As a Field Technician at Amento Group, Ryan documents visual and destructive building investigations, inspects the installation of waterproofing components in new construction and remediation repairs and performs work as a third-party inspector for condominium renovation projects.
When not at work, Ryan spends much of his free time with his high school sweetheart: a 28-foot Bayliner Buccaneer sailboat. He often takes to the Sound for the weekend with only his wits, rigging, and—as his summertime sunburn will tell you—not enough sunscreen! But while work may keep him close to home, Ryan has big aspirations. He hopes to one day find time for a voyage to more exotic waters.
