Corke Amento, Inc. officially opens its doors marketing “Construction Disputes: Prevention, Presentation, and Resolution Services.” We land our first big dispute resolution job on Port of Seattle’s Pier 66 Project where we served as the neutral party to the Owner, Architect and Contractors. First employee Lisa Hanses is hired.

Our first construction management project, Rose Pointe, is completed under budget and we are hired as a neutral during construction of the Mariner’s new stadium.

1999

1999

Mike & Steve visit China to help Ralph Allen punch list the Shanghai Children’s Hospital project for Ralph’s client, Project Hope.

2001

2001

CAI commences construction management services on 2 large projects, One Pacific Tower and the $17,000,000 Seattle Heights project. The former is CAI’s 15th CM project.

2004

Lisa Moe joins Corke Amento, thus launching the architectural services department. Architectural services eventually represent 35% of our company’s business.

2005

2005

Janet Fife & Melissa Burton come aboard. By our 10th Anniversary, we provide a diverse set of equally weighted services: Construction Disputes, Building Defects and Construction Management.

Ben Borland joins Corke Amento.

2008

Steve Amento & Lisa Hanses celebrate 20 years of working together without seeking divorce lawyer counseling. Aggregate value of completed construction management projects exceeds $100,000,000.

Mike Corke retires. We begin warranty investigation work on 2200 Westlake Condominiums, thus launching a 7 year saga and our largest CM project.

2010

Lisa Moe & Ben Borland become principals; Ben oversees the Construction Management Division and Lisa manages the Architectural Division.

2011

2011

Corke Amento is Uncorked. The new vintage is released as Amento Group.

2012

2012

2200 Westlake Condominiums settles with Developer for $26,000,000 which is rumored to be the largest construction defect settlement of its kind in Washington. Construction Management begins.

2013

Jumbo condominium warranty projects (Brix, Gallery, Mosler Lofts and Bellevue Towers) dominate our workload.

Aggregate value of completed construction management projects tops $200M.

Amento Group Turns 20. Dave Gramann designated to oversee Building Defects Division. Time out for a celebration!
