Soon after this 26-story Belltown high-rise condo building and its 240 units were built, water intrusion problems were discovered. Amento Group’s role as construction manager included developing new flashings and waterproof membranes on 252 decks, overseeing removal and replacement of all 264 sliding glass doors and 1,594 windows, and re-sloping. These were followed by extensive interior repairs related to window and door removal.
Our team then removed the existing landscaping, planters, concrete topping slab and failed urethane waterproofing, replacing them with new concrete pavers on a pedestal system, membrane, and landscape planters and plantings. All work was done while lower retail space was open for business and unit owners remained in the building.
