Darren has been practicing structural engineering for 30 years and has extensive experience in designing all types of building and civil structures. He leads the structural engineering department at Amento Group and performs design services on a wide variety of challenging projects. Structural design service areas at Amento Group encompass new building projects, building additions, remediation projects, structural condition assessments, and urgent repair designs including emergency shoring.

Darren is a US Army veteran and a University of Washington graduate. In his leisure time, he enjoys many interests including sports cars, motorcycles, home improvement, gardening, pet care, antique collecting, and spending time with family and friends. In addition, a good glass of scotch is always appreciated.
